Entrepreneurship For Kids

Entrepreneurship For Kids is a 12-week program for children, between the ages of 12 and 18, who is interested in business or wants to work in business. The program provides kids with the principles of entrepreneurship and how business ideas work in the real-world concept. This business coaching program is designed to empower the kids to think like an entrepreneur and related business skills to start and run a business in different scopes. The program also develops the all-important critical thinking and decision-making skills that can be used in whatever development direction they pursue in life. 

 

As part of the program, young students learn to identify opportunities, raise ideas, set and achieve goals, collect and analyze relevant information, improve speak in public, make simple financial calculations, solve problems, be creative, work as a team, develop social skills, develop independent and positive thinking and more. Later, the program will also provide coaching and advice on exploring and developing business ideas, how to start a business, creating a business plan, developing marketing strategies, identify business opportunities and much more. The program is conducted by 13 main modules: 

  • - Principles of entrepreneurship  

  • - Entrepreneurial skills and the impact of the surroundings 

  • - How a business operates and makes money 

  • - Understanding the business plan 

  • - Gathering information 

  • - Creating a profitable and sustainable business model 

  • - Preparing a business budget 

  • - Keeping business records and reports 

  • - Innovation, risk, and brainstorming 

  • - Steps to starting your own business 

  • - Create and implement marketing plan  

  • - Negotiation 

  • - Present PowerPoint business plan to business leaders 

 

Entrepreneurship For Kids is taught by business professionals, experienced coaches and consulted by top enterprises in Singapore. By the end of the course, students are expected to gain:
