1. What is career oriented?

Career Oriented is a course aimed at helping pupils/students improve their awareness of the discipline, and orient themselves to develop in the short and long term; to help them have the right direction in deciding their future career. Our difference is that the curriculum has been researched and built in the most appropriate way for students of all ages from elementary school, middle school, high school to university students. We believe that career orientation at any stage is important for students’development, helping them practice skills, foster personality and improve themselves.

2. Determinants for future career orientation

Our courses are developed based on the factors that determine the future career orientation such as hobbies, personal capabilities, and the needs of  labor market. The courses start by helping students discover their own hobbies and passions; thereby stimulating their curiosity and inspiration to learn. In succession, the student's individual ability will be assessed based on actual academic achievement and scientific assessment methods such as IQ, EQ, Fingerprint Biometrics, etc… to find out the outstanding point in characteristics and abilities in one or more specific areas. Finally, predictive information about future career and recruitment trends will be continuously updated with the support of leading professors at NUS and partner companies, helping students to remind them of their choices through reality.

3. Steps to the right career direction

The program is designed to provide students with diverse knowledge about many different professions, such as Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Hotel Management, Consulting, Social psychology, Food technology industry, Medicine, Electrical, mechanical, Construction, Logistics, etc…

Career-oriented courses take place in 2 weeks with an appropriate schedule, balancing theory and practice.

  • In the 1st week: students will be supported by leading experts in career orientation with learning tools and materials. Workshops will be regularly held to enhance the communication between students and teachers, solving students’ frequently enquiries in self-direction.
  • In the 2nd week: Students will participate in a field trip in Singapore with the main destination are NUS University, prestigious vocational training institutions and large companies to learn about the reality training and working environment of each profession.

At the end of the course, we will provide a career-oriented consultation report for students based on their own assessment and consideration with the actual situation of the labor market. Our education experts will help students build a learning path and train themselves in each stage to help them achieve the best orientation.
